Giles Farnaby (ca. 1565 - 1640)

Born Oxford and died in London, Farnaby was a
moderately successful maker of virginals, an early
"parlour" string instrument and a joiner who also
had graduated Oxford with a musical education.
He most notably wrote pieces for the virginal as
well as psalms and madrigals but is neither as
well known nor (at the time) was he as
successful as his contemporaries.

Well, he's dead now, innee?
