Somewhere in the extremely strange time of the late 60's,
Jerry (The famous Artist) Schurr and Seve (The Rev Lev) Levicoff
of Philadelphia got together and began singing Catches and
Sacred Harp with several other folks on a regular basis. In order to facilitate the communal cacophonic effort, they put together a selection of 33 (actually, 32 since Steve forgot to write down the music to one of them!) catches gleaned from the pages of
'The Catch Club" or "Merry Companions"
which they probably stole from some
unfortunate University's library.
Their personal objectives were similar in this: Sex.
Seems to have been successful.
I'm still waiting for either of them to offer a rebuttal...
