A Catch on A London Waterman

Bartholomew Isaacs ( ?? - 1713) Vicar-Choral (Choirmaster) and Organist at Hereford (Heriford) Cathederal 1707 - 1713)

from which we may assume he was a youngish fellow in his 40's when he died,  giving us a birth of about 1675-ish.



Quite a lovely melody line, but either the transcriber screwed up setting the key, or there are a LOT of accidentals

which never got correctly notated... either way, as notated in "A-maj", it sounds rather like Schoernberg having sex with

Shostakovitch.
